오늘 함께 공부할 영어회화 표현은 "생활비" 입니다.

 

 

 

"나 생활비 아껴야 해~ 여행자금 모아야 하거든!!

나 이번달 생활비 벌써 다썼어!!ㅜㅜ 돈 좀 빌려줄수 있어? "

 

 

우리가 말하는 '생활비'는 영어로 어떻게 말할수 있을까요?

cost of living 이라고 할수 있습니다.

 

 

cost는 '비용' 이라는 뜻이고

living은 '삶' '생활' 이라는 의미로, 이 둘이 합쳐진 표현이죠.

 

생활비는 좀더 넓게 말하자면 '물가' 라는 의미로도 쓸수 있습니다.

그만큼 많이 벌지 못할지는 모르겠지만 생활비는 훨씬 적게 들어요.

안타깝게도 교육비가 오르고 있는 동시에, 생활비도 오르고 있습니다.
