완전초보 영어첫걸음 - He is my contemporary at university. "그는 내 대학 동년배야."

오늘 함께 공부할 영어 회화 표현은 contemporary 입니다. contemporary 표현은 '동시대의, 현대의, 당대의' 라는 형용사 의미뿐만 아니라 '(어떤 사람과) 동년배' 라는 명사형 의미를 담고 있는 표현이에요. 영어로 풀어서 설명해 보자면 'happening or beginning now or in recent times ( 지금 또는 최근에 발생하거나 시작함) / a person who lives at the same time or is about the same age as another person ( 다른 사람과 같은 시기에 살거나 비슷한 나이인 사람)' 이라고 할 수 있겠습니다. 오늘의 표현 contemporary 이 실제 영어회화 속에서 어떻게 쓰이고 있는지 유용한 영어회화 예문들을 통해 좀더 공부해 볼게요 !
