완전초보 영어첫걸음 "-obsessed" 중독된, 집착하는

오늘 함께 공부할 영어회화 표현은 " -obsessed" 입니다.

 

obsess 는 동사로 1. (어떤 생각이 사람의 마음을) 사로잡다, … 생각만 하게 하다. / 2. (…에 대해) 강박감을 갖다. 이러한 의미의 단어입니다. 영어회화에서는 보통 사람을 주어로 하여 수동태 형태인 "-obsessed" 을 많이 쓰게 됩니다.  실제 영어회화 문장에서 어떻게 쓸수 있는지 다양한 영어예문들을 통해 좀더 공부해 보도록 하겠습니다. ^^

그는 일 생각만 한다.

He is obsessed with money.  
그는 돈에 환장한 인간이다.

She is obsessed with food.  
걔는 음식 생각이 머리에 박혀 있어.

You seem obsessed with food.  
너는 먹는 걸 너무 밝히는 것 같아.

The subject obsessed them.  
그 문제가 그들의 머리에서 떠나지 않았다.

He is obsessed with gambling.  
그는 도박에 정신이 팔려 있다.

I think he might be self-obsessed. 
내 생각에 그가 자기 강박인 것 같아.
