완전초보 영어첫걸음 - except '~를 제외하고'

오늘 함께 공부할 영어회화 표현은 except 입니다. except 의미는 '~를 제외하고, ~외에는 ' 라는 뜻인데요, 예를 들어 '그 태국 레스토랑은 일요일을 제외하고 일주일에 6일 엽니다.' 라고 할때 'That thai restaurant opens 6 days a week except Sunday. ' 일요일을 제외하고 라는 내용을 붙이고 싶을때 except Sunday 이렇게 말하시면 됩니다. 유용한 표현이죠? except 를 일상생활 영어회화에서 어떻게 쓸수 있을지, 다양한 영어예문들 좀더 살펴보겠습니다.

우리는 일요일 외에는 매일 일한다.
